Both rear 37\'s went flat on fwy, *UPDATE LEAK FOUND*VIDEO**
ok so i did a run with the www.socalbigdawgs.com on saturday, and we ran trails in calico/ anyway my tires were fine! i drove about 30-40 miles south of calico and washed the windows and tires from mud to make it more driveable, then about 10-20 miles down the freeway from there the truck starts swaying, and i just think its cause my sway bar isnt connected, anyway it gets a little worse, so i pull over, and my bro points out that my drivers side rear was completely flat! and not only that the rubber smelled way burnt. so we get out, and walk around the truck only to see the passanger side flat also!!!! DAMMIT, so thats $500 down the drain.
So i call my g/f and she offers to load some 31 inch tires i have at home into her car and drive 2+ hours to bring them to me.
we get towed to a parking lot, she brings the spare, we throw the front 2 tires on the rear and put the 31's on the front (i'm geared to 5.13 in case your wondering why) so after i complete the swap i drive 60 miles to her family's house. and this morning when i woke up..... THE RIGHT REAR IS FLAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
so now i'm at a loss. try and patch this one and buy 2 new tires or get all 4 new, either way i'll have to find the money somewhere! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
anyone have an idea how this coulda happened?
Heres the leaks
RE: The Manufacturer
They think that maybe the welders temp was lowered on the rear 1/2 of all the rims because the front and rear are welded at seperate times. Anyway he's getting me replacement tires, and new rear 1/2s of the rims and all shipping at his cost. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif Its the right thing in my book and if the replacememts hold, all will be well in my book
