Removing cab from the parts truck to finish metal work gonna patch couple spots in cab floor supports and paint the bottom of the cab. What should i use? Herculiner? Some type of bed coating? What do you guys suggest? Dont wanna be dealing with rust any time soon!!

Herculiner's just paint with grit in it. Over time the paint wears off and only the "grit" remains.

If I ever get down to that level where the cab/body is literally completely off it's getting Rhino Lined or something. Costs more but will prevent the vast majority of the the bottom from rusting.

I have been thinking about having the bottom of the cab, inside the cab and half way up the doors done with rhino lining gotta go check some prices i guess.

It won't be cheap...but it's good stuff. Tell them you want the harder, tougher coating for the undersides and external stuff.
