Alright guys time to show you what I have been wasting my time on. 1995 Honda shadow ACE 1100cc Made in America basically a Harley clone. Even has the 45 degree in the engine. Sounds like a Harley for the most part. looks kinda like a Harley from what I hear. But now don't get on my case I will for sure agree the torque is NOT a Harley. Now heres the best part runs like a Harley but has the reliability of a Honda, mpg of a Honda, and cheap price tag of a Honda. Did I mention Made in America. So I had to do so research on this made in America talk.
Here's what I found as quoted in Motorcycle magazine review of this bike.
"That's right, American made. From the steel for the frame and gas tank, to the fasteners used to hold the bike together. Right down to the paint. In all, there are more than a hundred suppliers from all over the United States that supply the ingredients delivered to the Honda of American Manufacturing (affectionately known as 'HAM') plant in Marysville, Ohio, to make the new Shadow. But the styling and sound come straight out of Milwaukee."
I will just say Hell ya!

Oh on a side story I bought it for a guy being deployed back to Afghanistan and was selling it to leave some extra money with his wife. So heres what I did. I talked to my wife about it and here is what we came up with. We told him if he drove it to are house for me as I didn't want my first ride to be in downtown Denver I would give him full asking price. He said Heck ha. And that was that. He showed up with a sissy bar, helme,t and gave me his biker glasses. Great guy and I felt good helping him out. I just didn't let him know I was fully ready to ride it home.
