I might be wrong but you would be safe with 89-91, Blazers or Suburbans.

I think the later years (89-91) had 30 splines and the older one....28 spline??

89-91 should be a 30 spline 10 bolt front just like you have now. However any front 10 bolt from the 80's should work.

closest one I found local to me is a paor of front and rear 10 bolts out of a 85 for $300 but I have not heard back yet.

also found a roller frame in grand rapids for $300 waiting to see what it has for axles.

Get me a 14 bolt semifloater and a front axle both with 4.10s and you can have mine

That's a rear axle...probably.

I sent a message to all my car/truck guy friends and relatives in Michigan. See what they come up with.

Have you tried www.car-part.com ?
Also, consider a 8 lug axle since you could swap your 6 lug outers onto it.

Thanks for the craigslist link but that is a posi unit and not a Front axle.

One of these days when I get some money Ill be able to get some proper 1 tons and lift this bitch up higher but for now I just need it to get me through snow.

Actually we haven't had **** for snow, has only hit a couple of times but I just need it for the snow I know is comming I wan't my 4 wheel drive to work.
