So everyone knows their crooks - what's the problem? Do you have a "special" beef with them?
 
this does not work for more than one reason..



one of them is that most local smaller shops buy from and depend on transamerica for the products they sell and at the prices they can still make a profit at..

He said they would throw away perfectly good product and not let the employees take the stuff. He pulled 3 9500ti Warn winches out of the dumpster and the only thing wrong with them was a little bit of surface rust and bad solenoids. What a jackass company that would just throw **** away!

hhmmm.... I've ordered a few things here and there from them and haven't had a problem. Truthfully I've never heard anybody complain about 4WP

:eek1::eek1::eek1: Your Joking right!?!?!?!?!? It's known nation wide that there customer service is as crappy as it gets. SURE not in EVERY situation but overall they suck. I have bought from them many times too without issue. BUT I have also sued them for failure to honor a written price guarantee and won my case. I wont order a thing from them, if they don't have it "in stock" I wont buy from them.

Lots of people have never had problems with them, but you've never heard a complaint about them?!

Hell, its an anual post on here and most other boards. Basicly they are the WalMart of 4WD stores. I've never had a real problem with them but I hate the way they price stuff. We used to do it the same way at the parts store I worked at- I don't like it from either side of the counter, never did.

I don't know if I've just missed these threads on here but I've never heard it online or from anybody I know. I'm not trying to stick up for them or anything I'm just saying this is the first i've heard of it. A decent amount of people I know have done business with them and they haven't said anything and I personally haven't had a problem with their dealings. I don't know if it's just the store I do business with (Norcross, Ga), but they've been nothing but helpful and surprisingly knowledgable (for the most part).

Adding a note to that though, a salesguy was trying to sell me some overpriced springs one time that I thought was fairly ridiculous
 
Some compare 4 Wheel Parts to a Swap Meet or Walmart, but i like to compare them to a
Fish Bowl

As a Fish Bowl is really nice to look at (4WP Store), when you stir up the bottom all the Sh%t comes up.

I always knew they were basically the wal-mart of parts stores. I just kind of feel bad now giving them my business knowing they do business like this

Free wheels and $200.00 rebate on their tires, there's your red flag that something is up

I kid you not, this Story is on about 5 other forums that i just saw, so you can imagine the RUKUS and Broohaha this stirs up.

Its on probably on over 150 boards at 500 hits = 75,000 people.

THere is your mass advertising.

For those who got your wheels, you are happier than pigs in sh%t. Excellent

For those who spent all your time and got nothing, i feel for you.

TO GIVE WHEELS AWAY FOR FREE and just charge for shipping is called

UNFAIR COMPETITION

You can't sell something below your cost as it is UNFAIR COMPETITION to other stores, as they can't compete and are crushed, Violating Federal and State Laws.

For all the people who got FREE WHEELS and just paid for shipping, you guys unknowingly crushed and/or financially damaged other local stores.

I went on 4wp website a couple of days ago and it said FREE wheels just pay for shipping, now its different...........i wish i would have saved that

I would suggest you to tell us about this "strategy" so no one will get burned next time. Its only fair you can share. Hell, you never know when someone will pull a Columbine on 4WPW. All it takes is that wrong salesperson to push the wrong buttons on one poor unsuspecting soul.

If you still don't want to share the info, then I have nothing to say but suspect that you could be an employee of 4WPW.

I think he is referring to the fact that this same drama is prolly playing out on a bunch of other boards and getting the 4WPW name in front of a bunch of 4x4 enthusiasts. I don't see how that helps them though. :confused::confused:

Perhaps he is using sarcasm?

BTW, my in-laws got us that same fishy toilet seat pictured above (but not the tank), and no I don't know what they were thinking either. :screwy: Needless to say, it does not grace our throne.

Here in Orlando Fla i have been dealing with 4WP for 5 years and not one complaint yet. Always been fair with me , no price switching, and their techs have always done me right. Yes i work for wal mart. I have found that in any national company individual stores can be as diffrent as night and day. Some wal marts i have shopped in have had terrible service and been trashed, others spotless and was treated great. Meaning even though some of the stores or employees of a company are not good dont mean they are all bad.

As for the misleading prices or undercutting.... well show me a company that does not do that at least some and ill show you a fairytail.

I've read a lot of responses on this whole "free wheel" thing and was just curious. In all the replies I heard how you were cheated or lied to or something. Did anyone have their money taken from their account and not returned? Did anyone get charged unfair amounts of money? NOT "told" you were gonna be charged unfair amounts but actually "CHARGED"? I mean I don't like the company for their business practices however I'm still not seeing anyone who actually got burned by this company. Even the guy who went to court it was a misunderstanding because the owner wasn't listening.

All I see is "They lied to me" or "I got cheated" then (because I didn't receive my free wheels) You missed out on a great deal so what? On amazon I saw a deal for a 50 dollar 800+ value laptop. I jumped on it but still didn't receive it. I knew it was a misprint I knew it was something fishy however I still tried. People have had bad dealings with them, myself included. I just see a bunch of bandwagoneers with nothing to give other then "I didn't get my wheels for free"
So who was actually wronged by them over these wheels? That's my real question. Maybe I missed the one person but I really am curious.
