Brake Caliper Brackets, 14 Bolt.....$45 for CK5

We are up to 1600 pair of these sold!

I am amazed by the number of people doing 14 Bolt swaps every time I think about it.......And these are the ones you want!
 
It all fit and installed with no problems.
Disc brakets & 14B swap kit. We know where to get the GOOD stuff. :D

i finally took the drums off of my 14ff. now what do i need to put on the disc? will order caliper bracket. the axle is from a 1975 3/4 ton k 20.. so get '75 rotors n caliper? or what? need to make sure so i dont make mistakes. thanks

edit** will i need tall or short bracket?
 
rotors from the front of a 75 3/4 ton, calipers from the same if you want 7/16" banjo fittings, from an 85 3/4 ton if you want 10mm banjo fittings. Tall bracket. You can reuse the stock wheel studs you knocked out.

And don't forget brake lines. depends on which caliper you use. Lots of guys either run stock front lines, or chevette lines.

so 7/16 or 10 mm banjo fitting for a caliper right?

We are extremely busy as summer rolls around again, I thought we might get a little slowdown but that is not the case.......I will try and get here a couple of times a day to answer any questions. In the mean time it is back to training employee #5.......

Employee #5 did not work out, closed mind and vehicle centric, he has a jeep and thought everything else was junk.......never would open his eyes......

Speaking of Brand Centric, I posted a Ford D70 brake Bracket here and you guys seem uninterested? The Ford is the one you want if you want a D70, it is the one with a smooth bottom:crazy: , and I know you like smooth bottoms!

im ready to order new disk brake adaptor.. but it has a C&C or SRW??? which one do i get since they both say for 14 bolt.. i got a 1975 14 bolt ff..
 
the bolt, that attaches the brake line to the caliper is called a banjo bolt. sae size is 7/16.. then it got switched to 10mm. the changeover is somewhere in the 78-82 range (don't know the exact year)

what type of axle do you have? Odds are the SRW. a c&c axle is narrower than a standard axle.

SRW = single rear wheel. this includes pretty much everything that ever came with a bed, except duallies

c&c = cab & chassis. When a truck was ordered without a bed from the factory, it came with a narrower axle so the dual rear tires would be close in overall track width to the front.

i think my truck is a srw. it was a 1975 k 20 with a bed. 14bff.. so get srw?

All correct.

The C&C is for what it sounds like.......the last is for an SRW axle running C&C hubs to make it narrower.....
