what brand of grease/ lube do you use on the slide bolts?

what do you use on the bake of the pads?

I only ever used high temp disc brake grease (small amount).

Brake pads get nothing if they come with the anti-squeak pads installed otherwise use anti-squeak lube sold at most auto stores.

ditto on the disc brake lube for the backing of the pads!

what do you use on the caliper guide bolts? I've used high temp anti seize in the past. I found some synthetic grease. Also i was told to use sly d guide.

I use the synthetic caliper grease that Napa sells. Little smear on the back of the pads/where the pads ride on the calipers. Then coat the pins/slides. Never get any noise and they come right apart the next time.

Good habit I picked up when I worked at the shop.

I use this:

And always wondered if it's the same as this:

I used to use white lithium and have also tried anti-sieze, but this black stuff seems to stay in place and work the best.

The top one is the guy I get. I have a tub of it that I got when I worked for Goodyear. Stuff is awesome.

I've always used never-seize on the pins and slides, haven't had any troubles with them..

I read that the synthetic grease can cause the rubber boots to swell.

I've always used high temp anti- seize, the thick silver stuff, that norrnal goes on bolt threads. However I had a pin seize on me using this stuff.
