I need to run to the parts store to get some rubber lines for calipers for a rear disc conversion.

I don't want to use the actual part number to fit the certain rig with D44 calipers. I want shorter length hoses that fit the 7/16" banjo bolt.

Anyone know a part number or what specific vehicle to tell the parts guy? Remember, I need shorter lines than the stock K-series hoses.

pm grundy99. IIRC, he used front lines off a chevette or something like that. Try any early ('77 or so??) GM car like the Monte Carlo/Camaro or something like that. IIRC, most of the early GM cars used the 7/16 banjo bolt in the front calipers.

The short hoses I used for the swap I did (years ago) were Raybestos BH38421 or Auto Zone Brakeware 77024.
I am not sure of the banjo bolt size in these lines though.
I used Eldorado calipers at first, then switched to 10bolt 3/4ton calipers.

Did you find/install the lines? Looking to do same thing, just looking for info.

I bought some for the front of a '79 Chevette, they are the same part number for both sides, and are about a foot long.

I used a set of 85 ss monte carlo hoses they fit the same and have the protective sleeve by the banjo for us hardcore 4x4 guys.

What hard lines are those? What did you use for the rest of your swap; bracket, caliper....
