Brakes/ Radiator

I ordered the master cylinder. I was flushing the radiator out this past weekend and was looking around at the brake lines and master cylinder.

Removing that black vertical box, just unplug and tuck the wires?

I had the e brake foot pedal pushed down all the way since my ebrake isn’t connected. Have not got around to hooking then up.
The brake light flashes 7-8 times.

Will removing the black box fix the flashing light?

Everyone seems to want a large-bore master cylinder, but that means your pedal effort is higher. The reason to go bigger is if you have too much pedal travel. If you move to larger caliper pistons, or swap from drum to disc, the brakes need more fluid to move, but I think the common perception is backwards. Hydraulics are similar to a gear ratio. The force on the brakes is proportional to the ratio of piston diameters, so as the master bore gets bigger, you have less pedal travel, but less braking force.

For the coolant leak, you're pretty likely to spot it dripping if the engine is hot.

I’m leaning towards a head gasket leak? I get a small white blush cloud at start up. Clears right up. Truck runs good still. No signs of leaks anywhere else. Installed new reservoir
