Ok besides using the hex bit what else can I use to unbolt the calipers on my 85 jimmy?

I wouldnt reccomend useing them, but you could use Visegrips but those bolts should be really tight. Any hardware store or parts store should have Allen wrenches. (The hex tool) If youre really stuck, Id even give your a 3/8 allen because you probably wont get it out without one.(I can get them from work!)

If worse comes to worse, you can get a 10-24 "rod connector" (looks like a really long nut - costs about 75 cents at the hardware store), and stick it in the bolt, and use a 3/8" wrench to turn it.
