ARB's have spider gears (about the only thing that makes them weaker than a detroit), they use the compressed air to lock one of the side gears, thereby locking the differential. I would replace it, assuming you already found the tooth in your diff (before it blew up the R&P ), it will cause problems down the road. Better to replace a $25 (guessing) spider gear than a whole new ARB, diff, install, etc.
