I'm currently on the side of th I-70, was headed westbound, thought the new ignition module fixed the problem. Apparently not. Have family back in Ft. Wayne working on heading out to recover what we can.
I'm pulling a 10x12 trailer, really wissh i could get it started so I can get it off the freeway,

I dunno, just at a loss for everything right now. I dont know what to do.

Sorry to hear that dude! I'd be there in a heartbeat, but sadly I'm too far away (in CA).

Hope someone comes through for you.

Brother's in St Louis but not a mechanic by any sense of the word.

I swear we have a couple locals on here.

Parental units borrowed an uncles Duramax truck, found a place that rents larger trailers, 20 footer, They're gonna load up mothers truck on the trailer and drive all the way here from Ft. Wayne, use the D-max to pull the trailer/sub and her truck will pull the little trailer I was pulling.

Yeah, i said it in a previous post/thread, but after today i think it's official.

The Burb will be retired. Just done with the headaches.

Costly recovery as well, pretty much gonna cost more than this thing is really worth.

I'm rattling my brain trying to think of any family/friends that I can get on the horn to give ya a hand.

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your folks.

Do you have a paypal acct?

Collectively we could help reduce the finacial burden.

05:30, engine shut down.

I estimate the rescue party to be here at 7:00pm.

Yeah, been sitting in this truck that long, cant really go anywhere as i also have a couple of pets in here with me. Glad i installed a redneck screen to the rear pass doors so the windows could be rolled down without fear of them jumping out.

Also glad i packed all those frozen water bottles. Most of which are pretty thawed out with sitting here in the 95+ degree temps.

Yeah, I'm have a ton of fun.

Yeah, also bored, so I thought i'd update. :-P

Yeah I can't beat them there by 7, working and got a job interview hopefully. I could hold a truck in the yard in lawrence if you don't mind cat prints, right off i70.

Too far to help but I can bump it so maybe someone sees this... :thumb:

Sorry about the delayed update. Just so tired after all was hooked, i spaced it.
Anyhoo, the rescue crew showed up at about 7:15pm, got it loaded and hit the road at about 8:30.
Just pulled in the driveway here at the "other" home (parents) 05:30 am Tuesday and all is unhooked, trailer offloaded and ready for return in 3 hours.

I am beyond tired, i left out of here at 10:30 sunday night, drove straight through till it died in St. Louis. Sat there all day, no air, luckily I managed to get it coasted to one of the only underpasses around there, so I at least had shade. But it was still hot. Hardly any food, had some fruit and chips, had plenty of water, so that was good. But as you can imagine, with not having any sleep since saturday night,,,i'm tired.

Gonna go rinse off in the shower and hit the bed.

Chat with ya'll in a bit. :D

And thanks for the concern.

Btw, yes I do have a Paypal account, but it's not necessary for donations. Yes it was a costly ordeal, looks to be running up near the $400-500 range after all the gas for the two trcks needed, rental of the trailer and whatnot.

Sad, cause I know I wouldn't even be able to get that amount for the truck. :doah:
