Does anyone know how I should go about fixing this. I do not know a lot I am just learning.

That entire Mount needs to come off and a new mount welded on. Steel to cast iron (pretty sure that is what your axle is made from) is a different process. I am pretty sure (someone correct me if wrong) the cast iron needs be be pre-heated before the steel Mount can be welded. If you are not comfortable welding, I am sure a local shop can do it for you....I'd do both sides just to be safe. Ditch the dual shocks and get a good single setup.

What shock should I keep the inner one or the outer one ?

I believe your outer shock is in the same position as single shock setups. If you are planning to have the shop weld in on I would recommend getting a prefab Mount so they don't have to make one for you. There are many sources out there.

Some of these may not fit what you are trying to do but it's an example of whats out there. The off road design tabs are pretty close to what you need I believe.

I bought these off ebay and they were excellent products. They dont have an active listing but it couldn't hurt to ask about them.
Seller is foothilloffroad

Why run two shocks?

Back in the day it was the route to "higher" performance shocks, as the technology wasn't yet there to allow a single shock to handle heavy cycling without fading. Then the 80's came, along with the fad to cram 20 shocks in per corner. Now, it persists as an image thing mainly. To a lesser degree, to placate the "more is better" crowd.

I just bought it and it came like that the guy said he liked the look.

I just got these in today so I can get them welded in tomorrow. I think these should work.
