Id like to break it first if you dont mind,

By the way I had fun with it ramming the white truck all over to get it out back.. poor mark was in the truck seat and I got comfy with the throttle:haha:

Ill get the arb in the 60 this week and go from there.

so..... im going against the grain but it looks like I might actually wheel this thing:D

Had some front driveline issues.. I can lower the front of the drivetrain or the crank pulley will become friends with my steering.. and I cant raise the rear of the drivetrain because of headroom and helmet clearance. This caused too much angle being the drivetrain is slanted back. I will later push the wheel base and front axle out and fix this issue when I link the front, full hydro ect.

The solution for now.. 60 degree front driveline:doah:

Also changed the tune, bumped the timing and got the spare up there.. ill post pics of that. I am happy to get this thing into 4x4 mode last week at a off road clean up I about wore the rear tires out doing tokyo drift :)

pics are not working ill add them

Also looks like my front susp is not doing much so that needs some attention.

So what say you guys? Started working on a light bar but i can not make up my mind. I may lower it being I have a mirror a few inches down from the tube anyways. I had it set up for 4 lights and it seemed to bulky. Many buggy's with the big light bars do not run head lights where as I do so hopefully i will not need as much.

I also am adding an additional piece of tube to run next to the a-pillar as I am concerned about the increased leverage on the roof tubes when it inevitably rolls on its lid.

Looking at making it fold down for possible garage/enclosed trailer entry too in the future.

Not sure how to mount it yet or make it adjustable. Looks like electric actuators are linear so they wont be able to fold it down flat.

Ideas???????

Also took it out finally, big trip for it is in 2 weeks so hope to have it all squared up and tested/proven by then.

Big thanks to rockstomper, I somehow ordered or received an 8 inch ram rather then a 6, so he is getting me fixed back up!

Took a vid of the new loading technique, landing still needs a bit of work lol, did this at Aaron's house and damned near got 3-4 feet of air.. he has that vid but its on his phone.

Went out last night in the buggy to goof off. Found a few things out. 1 its still running like crap. 2 I need the lower the bump stops in the front.. 3.. I can beat the hell out of it just like my truck but just like my trucks.. lack of bump stops break parts:D

When we got out there it was a heavy chance of rain and a thunderstorm so I picked up a jeep best top and half assed it on there till I can get it modified. Also finally finished the arb install and its fun:D

I have a few vids, first one I stood it up on its back tires and came down hard..

When I got out I had my real exspensive drive line in two pieces:doah: The straps had broke, I blamed it on the cheap straps, tied the driveline up and disengaged the front axle and decided to play in 2wd.

Well after jumping it, flogging down the wash and in general just beating on it to see if it could take it I decided to go to the hill where I had wheel standed it.. but this time decided I wanted to stay into the throttle..
it worked:D So we got out the cameras and I decided to go for one we could get on video.

So on this one.. I came down hard and put a tire off the bead. I am running hummer bead locks that are 16.5's but I have not yet put the bead lock insert in:doah: Ill get on that now. When it came down.. turns out more than the tire was wrong as i went to move it and it would no-go. The problem was my diff had went into my engine on the landing:doah::doah::doah: The result was my oil pan and my starter were destroyed. The oil pan was on it was just the casting around the sender on the bottom of it, so no worries there but the starter had to be delt with.

So I went and grabbed my 06 and trailer and wheeled it down into the wash, the whole time hoping I was not going to wind up with three stuck items out there:haha: Truck did fine, disconnected the trailer, hooked a strap to the buggy and pulled it over to change the tire. While there I grabbed my spare starter from the tool box on the 06 and swapped it out. Thank god for all three vehicles I have using the same motor..spare parts are easy to carry!

It started pouring but my buddy and I got it changed out real quick. Over all it was fun, now I need to go install my new longer bump stops that I thought I wouldn't need last night because I told my self I would take it "easy" ont he buggy:doah:

So fun in all.. Im going to install my new bump stops, play with my front shackle angle, actually bead lock my bead locks..add a pwr steering cooler and Ill come back for some day time vids :)

nice wheelwalk in the 2nd vid -- 2nd jump.... and did you have any brace under the Jeep while working on the starter?

No... but I did have two different straps on the buggy to the truck, one to each tow hook and on two points on the buggy. Added the second strap to change the starter, was not worried while changing the tire with just one though. Not the best scenario.. but not the worst. I would.. not recommend it:crazy:

Sometimes you gotta make do....that second strap is a little insurance over just the one I saw in the pic.
No-one got hurt so all is good.

Please tell me you are the one with the hard hat on, :haha:, because the thought of you doing wheelies in the buggy wearing a hard hat just make laugh :haha:  :D

Yup:haha:

It started to rain and I could not find my hat anywhere in my truck, so out came the hard hat:haha:

Made it out to play for the weekend.. at 5pm the day I was leaving I decided to cut off the trans crossmember and redo the tabs:doah: I needed to raise it a simple 1/2 inch to install the skid plate and it was the only way. Weekend was great other then some rain.

Buggy was a blast, only carnage was the drain plug on the trans happens to be in the little corner of the skid that is notched for the front driveline:doah: Delt with it with some help and we got it down to a slow drip and cleaned up the mess it had made.

Will be making a couple changes, such as the rear tire mount, cooler mounts and getting the winch and front recovery mounts on there. Also the front shackle angle needs to be addressed as well as lowering the spring rate in the rear.

Feels great to actually wheel this thing, its damn near a hot rod too:D

The buggy has really turned out awesome, glad to see you out enjoying it (finally :p:). Looking at it, it's hard to believe there's some Blazer under all of that stuff.
