Ok, lets put a stop to all of this in the CoG. This thread contains some good info on legal buggies, but the non-tech b.s. level is rising quickly. I'm at the point of deleting this thread since I don't feel like deleting all the b.s. I want to make very clear that ALL further posts in this thread must remain technical and non-adversarial or I will DELETE this thread just to "take out the trash".
I understand the points and support many of the sentiments expressed, but this is not the place for stuff like that. Thank you to Rob for putting what you felt needed to be said in a different thread forum and linking it. Shawn, I realize the other thread was locked and you had more to say, but it does not go here. Same goes for the rest of you. If you want to say "we need to be careful and not try to side step or get around the law or risk further crack downs and bad publicity…" then say it, but not by attacking.
And I don't want to see an apology or support or anything else other than *tech* posted on this thread. If you want to do anything, then PLEASE go back and edit your posts to remove the personal attacks and say what you need to say in a more neutral/factual way. If you feel that there are personal issues that must be aired, fine, but post them somewhere besides in CoG! This forum is PURE TECH, no b.s. and that's that. I'll say again, I agree with most of the legal points, and I'm very passionate about them, but the personal crap does not belong here… </font>
