thanks... i know what you mean about the Dad thing. Mine says the same thing. Hes scared its gunna rip off one day while im on the dirt. LOL but its been on there for years and its all holding up fine.. oly downfall is it adds 50 lbs. to a top that is already a B***h to take off with only a couple of buddies. :haha::haha::haha:

It held on with 12 bolts ( 6 plates 2 bolts each) and washers and lock washers. pretty simple.. never had a problem. =]

Now I know what's replacing the running boards when I get my Sub :D

Those sliders look great and the price is right too! $149 for a Blazer or $249 for a Sub.. can't beat that.

Im so glad you posted those pics!!!
I was going to go with DPI`s round ones, but those look so much better.
Besides I`ve bought so much From Jesse at Blazen lately might as well
stick with him.:haha:

Matt, thanks for the PM and the pics. I take it you had to drill the holes on the slider brackets as well as the holes in your trucks body supports? Also, why only one bolt on one end and was that the front or the back mount?

Also what is the dimension on the square tube? 2x3?

Are you planning on adding more tube to that cage?

No Problem =]

yep you have to drill all the holes yourself. the reason i only put one was that is all i could "easly" fit. if i did a little adjusting and hammering the Sliders up more toget tem closer to the body i could have fit two but i liked them seated a little lower.

its the rear mount

yep i believe it is 2x3.

Also jsut a side note. when you order them Jesse ( blazenoffroad) will contact you and ask for the length that you would like... such as if you have cut your fenders or anything to that effect.

anything else?

Yeah,

Did you consider getting the ones with the tube step? I am planning on adding or having Jesse add a set of removable U shaped drop steps. But I was wondering if the tube steps would act as an additional rock/stump/tree pusher like the DPI sliders and keep stuff out of the door. From the looks of it the widest part of the body/door sticks out farther than the base sliders. (Of course the last thing I need to do is make my Blazer wider :D )

For that matter why did you choose these over the DPIs? Their base slider, just a round tube with the same type mounts as Jesse's, is $99.

all good questions....

yes i did and still am considering some type of add on... the last few days at school ive just been sketching up a few ideas :haha:. As for them adding Rock/Stump/Tree pushy-ness.... idk. :D but also by adding something i would keep that in mind.. i wouldnt put just a simple "U" step. to me that defeats the purpose of the Rock Slider. and yes i was also thinking a bout the width of the blazer aswell :D

As for why i picked these. Ive bought lots from Jesse and i Really like the design of these. i guess just personal preference.
