Ok, I might actually get off my keester and build something.
Here is my question? How should I record my heroic building and fabbing skilz (and my credit card limit)?
A build thread is the standard answer, but it can be a pain to read thru 84 pages of posts and sort out the tech.
I like the idea of a build blog, where all the tech can be in one place, but then how do I get people to tell me how cool or stupid I am?
I also like the idea of setting up a seperate web site to record my build so I can organize everything better, but that is a lot more work, probably a little more $$$ that could be better spent on parts, and again how do I get comments? This option also prevents the post on 6 different boards problem.
Some combination of a blog or website with a thread would allow the tech to be in one place and the comments in the thread, but who is gonna want to click back and forth between the two for my crappy build?
Fire away.....
