I'm in the process of putting together a new exhaust system to pass inspection. This is on a 83 K30. I am planning a single 3" tucked up as tight as possible, maybe coming out in front of the rear tire.

I am hooking up to stock manifolds and the cost of y-pipes has really suprised me. Cheapest I have found is $150. Anybody out there found a better price/solution for the y-pipe? As of right now I think I will be making my own.

I'll look around I might have a new y-pipe I can send you. I don't think I got sick of it laying around and junked it....it only cost me $200+.

This is what I am running going on two years and still good. If you need cats just put them in where mufflers go.

i knew i kept the y-pipe from exhaust manifolds to about a foot past where it comes together for some reason....i think i have 3 of them in my shop. if you were closer i would give you 1!

Adam, let me know if you turn up something. As of right now I'll be building something myself.

Yup, cat just has to be in place. The previous owner got it passed without cats in place somehow.
