Building stuff in the shop for the shop.

I'm building a guest bedroom/ apt in my new shop. :D

I have been grinding at 2 am with garage doors open music on and no one even noticed. I asked
Ive thought about a apt in a shop but I don't know how you could keep it sealed off well enough to keep it clean. Abrasive/ welding dust seems to find the tiniest of cracks.

I'm gonna add it onto the back of the whole buliding.

15ish ft deep the whole 40 foot width. 10 ft of that width is gonna be shop space, 10 ft will be a storage/ clean area partioned with vinyl curtains. The guest room will use an outdoor door.

I'm hoping that only having 10 ft open to the rest of the shop will help with the dust issue.

It's really more for a place for me to put a pool table eventually but guest room is easier to sell to mah wife

meh, my place is a 2 bedroom above my shop and it stays clean.. and I'm pretty sure I do more grinding, sanding and painting than anyone in the forum... my dream house is a 4 to 6 car garage with a huge studio apartment upstairs...

So would this work for the tank? Yup it's been laying around garage for almost 9 yrs yrs now was left when I bought my house. Course before you ask has always been opened to the air.

So figured I might take this next take and turn it into something useful like you would but looking for a little input to make sure I am on right track here. I have this tank from a R134 A/C machine actually sits inside it and is not seen to most. It has been open to air for least year and half. Could I make my decent carry on air tank that would fill 35's and up? It has PSI rating of 300 on tank stamped in it. Here is what I was thinking just need to change one port to fill/shut off to keep air in tank.
