Honestly, it doesn't take anything but a dream, and money. I really love my truck, and no matter how hard I try, I just can't resist the urge to put the wrench to it and make it better every chance I get.

It's funny to see that most of us bought a stock Blazer/Truck, spent the time and money to make it pretty and then wheeled it to it's bashed and scratched state that they are now. What were we thinking when we painted them? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Hey... I painted mine. Three quality rattlecan jobs of upwards of maybe $25 invested per paint job. I hated to spend that much... but sometimes you just gotta shell out the cash.

Here's mine.

How I bought it. 33's, 4" of lift, with regeared 10 bolts.

Here it is at the body shop getting painted, Notice it now has 35's and new wheels.:

First ever off roading excursion, i look back on it now and laugh cause i was 16 and had just gotten my liscence and barely knew how to drive. Notice the massive flex. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Now skip almost 2 years. Truck now has a few dents, a lot of scratches. Truck has killed 2 rear axles(1 gov loc 10 bolt and one 14 bolt housing), 4 tires, been rear ended by a neon, been throughly wheeled and has been thrashed by a newbie teenage driver. But damn this truck has taught me so many things and has been sooo much fun, glad I didnt get a street rod now. Its amazing, barely knew how to change the oil when I bought it and now I work on cars every day at work. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif All of that in 2 short years. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

[/ QUOTE ] Mine has only gotten nicer as time has gone by...it's going in for paint this spring. I did the opposite...wheeled the sh!t out of it when it was a terd but now I watch out where I go and avoid places where I know I will dent it up. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
