I just received some 4.5" bump stops in the mail. Here's the product:

Now my question is, how do I know where exactly to install them so that they stop my up travel before my shocks bottom out? Obviously, this material will compress a certain amount. Is there a rule of thumb? Should I presume they'll compress 1", 2" etc.?

:ears:

I'd figure for about 2" of compression for those. The gaps will close up and then a bit more squeeze/deformation.

These are for the front. Not sure I' going to need them for the rear. 2" sounds good to me, and makes sense. Thanks!
