Bumper/tire carrier

HEy guys I have been reading the past posts on the KMA bumper/tire carrier. I went to the website and down loded the specks. I am going to have a friend fab one up for me based on the drawing and specks. I need to know if he fits it to his 72 C10 stepside will it work for my 72 K5. In other word can we both use the same template or do the frames have different dementions?

I am guessing but I would bet the width and framerail ends are the same, same stock bumper from GM. I would still just make one at a time per vehicle that way you are sure to get the mounting part right the first time.
