I'm sure with steel prices what they are today that bumper wouldn't be cheap and shipping definately wouldn't be cheap as it weighs about (guesstimate, 225 lbs).
Thanks. After I bought the tube, I spent a year or two not building them, as I recall, but collecting pix and ideas from folks here. When I finally got around to it, 4x4High was just doing his so I stole ideas from him too
The design was also driven by the tools available to me -- and the lack thereof, i.e. no bender for round tube, though I did have the two scraps of rollcage left over which turned into the light bar on the front.
If all you have is a welder and a grinder (and maybe a sawzall) you can do something in the same vein, or at least something functional. As it relates to bumpers I am a proponent of brute force over aesthetics
