Oh, and thanks ARAMP1 for adding that pic and bit of info.

I really have always loved the look of those Trxus STS's and wanted to try a set now that my Baja Claws are bald in the rear. I searched a little but came up with mixed reviews. I do mostly sand, street and some mud. What do you guys think? If I don't do that my choice was between the SSR's and some SX's, and if I really feel crazy I was going to put a set of 39.5" boggers on it, no joke!;)

Ratzila had a set of 38" STS's on his 1 ton, locked, BBC Burb. He came over on a rainy evening to help me move a K5 body I had, since it was wet he was spinning a fair amount while moving around - the tires didn't tear up my grass at all. :haha:
 
hmm, that's always good to hear. That's basically what I was getting from my searches on the STS's. I was planning on putting a set of tsl's on it this summer but my dad suggested some boggers. I thought he was crazy at first but price wise they aren't bad at all and of course they look sick. On top of that for the mud you can't beat them! I do drive on the street a lot but the noise doesn't bother me, in fact I kind of like it, my Baja Claws are noisy as heck and it doesn't bug me one bit. How do boggers in the 38.5 flavor fare on the street?

Your nto going to get a ton of mileage out of em and your gas milage is gonna drop. Id look mor einto a set of sx's. they are very nice tires.

Not well I wouldn't expect more than 10,000 miles out of them espacially if your street driving is highway
 
ok, that's not bad compared to now....I've gotten about 11,000 miles on my Baja Claws and they are toast in the rear. Heavy foot syndrome....ya' know.


I really like the SX's because of the belts...what do they do when air'd down like say for the sand. Do the belts help add support?

In the first post, fourth pic... you gotta love a crew cab swap, what are those 44's? and 10 bolts. It makes me chuckle inside.

I think it's a crew cab w/ some fender work....oh, and I have a feeling that those are the 46" flavor of the Baja Claws.

dudes smoking crack, I hate when people post things on ebay that are impoartant and they cant even spell for crap. When I see stuff like that it makes question the guys intelligence so I dont even give it a sceond chance.
