I totally agree.

My 52's will last me forever sitting in the shop BUT if I ever do damage them I'll be going back to 47's. Trucks like this prove you don't need crazy (w/ odd road manners) to do cool stuff. Some of these pics really make me want 39" Boggers. :pimp:

I LOVE the way it looks on boggers. I totally agree.

I absolutely love this rig. One of my favorites on here. As said before my goals are somewhere close to what you have done.

I have all the stuff for the 52 swap up front, but seeing your truck work on the 47's keeps me second guessing myself.

Keep up the awesomeness, and keep posting pictures. It keeps me motivated.

52s suck lol
wow looks good..

so 6" lift, lots of cutting and 47's?

oh yeah and more info on the square d-shaft up front?

It's 1350 tom woods flex joints on both ends. 2" and 2.5" square tube with 3/16 wall.
Used to have a 1350 cv head on there form a Ford superduty. Broke the ball put from too much droop. Single ujoint survives very well.

Lol thanks. It's got more views than Ryan's thanks to you. I try to wheel twice a year but probably only going to wheel once this one. I've got a 3 year old and another due summertime. I bet I'll be busy while the second baby is still little.

We went to the lonestar early bronco round up in a blazer and the people were very hospitable to the chevrolets. Only really got videos of me not making obstacles. We didn't get out unless we were stuck lol

I did get a dana 70 front from a dodge and 70 kingpin inner c's that I'm going to swap in the blazer. I have broken a few teeth already so why not drag diffs in style.

Yeah, I try to get out and wheel at least 4-5 times a year...and have one be a longer camping wheeling trip a year. I hear ya, I have 3 kids (6, 5, and 2 years old) and my wife works nights along with my job working days...so we get busy too. Sometimes I wonder where the freak we find any time to do anything, haha.

What did you do to convert the front output on the 241 to a single joint? I think I’m going to need to do that.

It's 32 spline so a ton of yokes fit. Got a 2-1/8 seal to match the yoke. Very simple.

I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks. I will find out if I can grind the saginaw yoke a little more, or switch to a 1350 spicer like the superduty shaft. As it binds right now at full droop.

I kept breaking the superduty front shaft from too much droop. I eventually went to a single tom woods superflex 1350 at the axle and tcase.

See what had happen was.....

Back in July of 18 my second daughter was born and two weeks later I got fired within minutes of returning to work.
Started my own gig mobile welding and it's been a struggle ever since. Not to mention this v3500 that is sucking every dollar I have.

So in January I let my homie Ryan with the Cummins k30 take the blazer on a trail cutting run to trees ranch. His was down getting a p pump swap so what's the worst that could happen on a trail cut?

And there ya have it. Haven't even visited it in over a year. It's at Ryan's house where it might get fixed next couple years.
