burn out

3 pedals is way easy, and thats weird you cant do a burnout with 265s, and a 350, Heres my S10 with a 2.8 Litre, and a 5Speed /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Gee I Miss that truck i need to get another 2wd tranny to put in it, oh and 205/75/R14s on the S10 and 235s on the Scottsdale. Scottsdale had factory 3.73s though
Try some bleech under your tires thats always fun /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

An automatic with a torque converter that has a low stall will make it tough to smoke 'em with a stock engine. It doesn't let the engine get into the powerband before it grabs, and holds the RPM's down. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif But if you're quick with the shifter, here's a trick that works every time... Make sure the front hubs are unlocked (they should be anyway to reduce parasitic drag, for the best possible ET). Pull up to the burnout box, slap the T-case into 4-Lo, step on the brake pedeal and start giving her some gas. You should be able to smoke the livin' daylights out of 'em! Then quickly shift back into 2-Hi and pull into the staging lights. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif (I did this same trick at Epping back around 1989 and it worked beautifully. Smoked up the 35-inch Mud-Terrains really nice).

I've been trying to decide if I could still do that with the 465...Interesting to work all three pedals at once.

It aint no thang. Just get rollin start braking till you're almost completely stopped then gas it alot along with brkaing harder. I did it with a 305, 4.56, 35x12.50 BFG KM on 10bolts.

Also, ive tried it with using 4lo with hubs unlocks, it doenst work. You have so much torque multiplication it juts pushes your truck forward and you dont spin the tires, atlesat in my case.

I push in the brake with the left half of my right foot, and with the right half push in the gas about another 1/2 inch in. Then start letting out the clutch with my left foot, once it is let all the way out i put my left foot on the brake, and my right on the gas. When your right foot is running the brake and gas, twist it a bit and you can vary your throttle position easily without letting up on the brake.

Put some kind of a muffler on it and try to get some freakin back pressure. I had a Jimmy with a 400sb that would completely roast the 38s but open header took a little more. You'd be surprised at how much of a difference couple mufflers make.

TWO WORDS -> 4 LOW

Damn dude my truck came with the limited slip with 3.73s and on dry pavement i could burn out hit 2nd still burning then bam ur gone Damn i miss my truck stock. I will catch all 3 gears(turbo350 swap w/2300stall) in my truck when i hold it to 4000 rpm and over but it wont smoke the 33's like it did(and no it was not power braking it was mash the gas and go) You pretty much make anything do a power brake.

my truck is like that on snow and ice. i can barly get out of my drive way with out having to put it in 4x4 just to prevent from going everywere in the winter time. and my driveway is totally flat.
