If the tires dont have traction you wont break anything. The front might have had no weight on it if he was going up a waterfall where the rear would have almost all of the weight on it.

How weird, Chris' break looked as clean as both of mine did. Mine were closer towards the end of the splines, not near the flange. Torsion is a biatch.

Paul, you shouldn't flat tow a FF without axle unless you overfill the diff some. The axleshaft is what helps keep lube flowing down to the bearing hubs.

Jason4x4 made a trailer recently with a stripped 14bff . He overfilled it , had Kert make caps for all openings , and filled the diff with it on end . Oil everywhere
