i printed out a receipt and an add from the computer and took it to a close tire store and got km2s 37 12.50-17... cheap.....295 with 6% sales tax here....they hammered anyone elses price and when they came in i had their receipt, the boss was mad he snapped and said we didnt make a dime on them.....thats what i heard in the background....i picked em up and ran..lol

eh yeah but they stole money away from a competitor and when someone asks "whered you get those awesome tires?" you tell them where, its like free advertising

i looked on a few other websites, and the cheapest i have found is $873, to my door step so im gonna try tire rack and also on monday call local

what size were u looking 4..?

x2

the best i found for a set of km2's 35 12.50 15s is $770 after taxes and shipping. im still looking around

i went to a local tire shop just to get a idea and they wanted 220 a tire before taxes

Ive order many sets from tire rack, they are the cheapest. The shipping has always been cheap, and has always been fast. Maybe its where I live but when I order from them I get them in 2-3days.

Mine come the next day, the warehouse is 100 miles from my house.:D

Anyone ever dealt with 4wheelparts for tires?

I bought from them in 2002, at the time they were still trying to build a name so they treated people good, I got the buy 3 get one free deal and I ended up getting a refund of $165 because before I got my set they had a new offer online for cheaper so I called them up and said, I haven't recieved them yet and if you don't give me the new price I want you to cancel my order so they did.
After a few years I noticed their service changed and their prices went up so I stopped doing business with them.

They're also famous now for doing the buy 3 get one free thing but jacking up the prices on the other three during the sale.

I have bought from tirerack before and they were great and the cheapest. no complaints. Also, you can have them ship the tires to one of their prefered vendors in your area for mounting and balancing.

Don't take that as a slam dunk however. The place here in Traverse City that does that for Tire Rack is big bag of douches. They think they know everything about fitting tires to vehicles and want too much anyways. So it never hurts to shop around or have your favorite tire place do the installation for you.

Eh...I used to say that...then I got two brand new out of round 16x7 black steelies from Discount Tire once. They swore up and down it was the tires but by the time I had figured out the wheels were the issue their warranty was up and I was a long way from the original Discount. The local one up here sucks ass.

When buying steel wheels I like to stick with the big names like Stockton, American Racing, Cragar, etc.

The 16x7's I got were either Ultras or US Wheels. They sucked.

We'll see, these are Pro Comp "Rock Crawlers" :haha:

Well they do have on their website a link to those prefered shops and you will compare prices and services online, I did that for my sister in law because she was far from me and wanted to have a shop close to her but wanted the savings.
She ended up paying $7.5 per tire installed and balanced and mounted.

I actually have a ProComp rock crawler in the Tracker. It's the spare rim. Never been on the vehicle but it looks nice.

The ones I ordered are discontinued.. the dude I talked to was very nice(works the local store) and killed the charge before I even talked to him :D

Now I just need to decide on a different wheel.. tempted to just go with 15's since I don't haul enough to need a 16" wheel.

Gotta plug discount if you've got them local. Pay the $25/tire for the warranty if you expect them to last, and they eat it when you put a stick through the sidewall.

No problems getting ripped valve stem and sidewall puncture fixed/replaced on two of my tires I bought there, about 8 years ago.
