Byron, GA

Yeah, that works out ok. Gotta find places to go hog hunting, I reallly want to do that.

I know some good public land about 15 minutes from Byron for hogs. my buddy marli( hot blond) has some family land down near Kathleen. shes been begging us to take her hog hunting. it can be arranged

I'll let Jon (jonrpick) know, he's in Marietta as well. Andyblack is in Warner Robbins and works at the base, might want shoot him a PM.

river rock;Milledgeville,Ga

big thing around macon west ga middle ga area is mud bogging lol. to get rocks we would have to either to Talladega Alabama or up to north Georgia
River Rock ORV just over river bridge headed towards Sparta on the right. Not for sure if it's still open but worth a goggle.Been there a hand full of times and was pretty good. Rode with my buddy in his crawler s-10. My truck is made for the slop not for the rock.

I was wondering if River Rock was still open. I'd haul my junk down for a ride there if they are.

As long as the timing is right, I'm in! :D I probably won't be up for wheeling or anything as I don't have a rig, and the wife would probably be in tow unless I rode down with someone else. But either way, I'd love to hang...

Jon im gonna take my 88 and drive it down if we do this in November ya'll are welcome to ride along with me. id be up for it sooner in the next few weeks but im in the middle of swapping axles and drivetrain over to the new body and due to lack of man power from my East cobb buddies :sign5: im not quite driveable yet. still a couple weeks away

I'm kind of in east Cobb... technically.. I'm off Lower Roswell on the 120 loop end, not the Johnson Ferry end. I'm off Sundays and Mondays, so if you need some manpower I might be able to lend a hand. I'm not a highly skilled mechanic by any means, but sometimes an extra set of hands helps.

Hell man, you should have posted something in the local section. I'm just south of the square. East Cobb isn't that far- as long as you didn't want help during rush-hour.

I am generally the mother-effing man when it comes to getting across Cobb Co in a hurry. Comes with driving everywhere for a living. :p

i live right near the square by the old Marietta high school. the trucks up off Shallowford and Sandy plains rd though. I could use a hand getting it finished up. only thing left is bolt the axles under it and minor wrap up stuff. hard part right now is ive gotta figure out how to get power to either run my air compressor or get my less than reliable buddy to show up to cut his air compressor on and run the 200 feet of hose to where we have both trucks sitting. rolled my 86 last year bought a new 88 body and im trying to get it back on the road so I can drive it haha its been way too long since ive had my Chevy

Fellas, as far as I know, River Rock never opened back up after it shut down at the end of 2010. I tried getting on their website a couple of days ago but it was shut down. Earlier this week I did see a guy heading away from I-75 at exit 153 with a built rock crawler on a trailer, but I don't know where he was coming from. Could have been anywhere, but it made me wonder about River Rock. That was a cool place to tear up your truck. I wish they would open back up, but I don't know what's up. Yall need to post here if anyone finds out anything.

Anyone live there?

My membership expired, or I would have posted in the lounge. :flipoff7:

I live in Warner Robins. I'm about ten minutes from Byron. Byron's at I-75 exits 146 and 149. I live off of 146 in the other direction, about a mile from the base.
