"C" Clip eliminator kits for 10bolt?

Didn't mean to stir so much up with this rear D60 talk

I just don't see why you'd go through the effort of putting a rear 60 in (moving perches, etc) when a 14 bolt will always be strong enough and bolts right in. But to each his own, it would hold up better than the 10 bolt, it's just not a big upgrade.

Only reason :haha:

Have yet to hear of anybody going from a 14bolt to a rear D60, have seen many threads where guys are going to a 14bolt after many breaks on the 60. Just saying:whistle:

Nobody has implied that a D60 is as strong as a 14FF. The point of contention is the comment that a D60 is not much of an upgrade to a 10-bolt.

Well, the tire won't fall off when you break a shaft, gotta give it that.

From my experience rear D60's don't hold up a ton better than 10 bolts. I really didn't mean to offend, my experience is that they aren't tough to break.

I have a very good reason for putting a Rear D60 FF in my truck, I have it, it came from a 3/4 ton so no perches moving, and as I said I have it.
And it's 4.10 gears.
These axles came in 3/4 ton 67-72 trucks, I got mine from a truck I got for free.

Fair enough, nothing wrong with that :pimp:

Nothing beats free!
Yeah when I was a bachelor, I spent my time browsing classifieds finding people that needed to get rid of trucks and cars, just take it away they say.
So I go and pick it up. If it's fixable I would fix it and sell it, if not I would part it.
after a few cars I decided there were too many out there and I needed to concentrate on one kind so I chose the chevy/GM trucks, and to be specific 73-91.
:dunno:
When I lost my job in 06, I spent 7 months selling stuff I held on to after I got married, and we were doing OK from just my sales, since it was free mostly, it was all profit.:woot:

Nice. I used to get free vehicles when I sold tools, but almost two years ago the wife and I headed another direction and now I don't get them like I used too. I miss those freebies!
