When I was looking for a nice dually to have a few months ago, I ran into this odd rear seat.
It was in a ranch cab or camper cab. It would look and sit like a normal rear seat, maybe a little higher, and then fold down flat over the floorboard to make a comfy little bed.
Was this a special option or aftermarket idea. Now that I've got a clean dually I would love to have that thing. Better then messing with a tent.

ANY IDEAS????

Bench front? Modify the back rest of the front seat so it can tilt all the way back and sit level with the rear seat bottom. That should be comfy I would think.

What about any run of the mill conversion vans, they 3rd row bench usually flattens out to a bed, some are motorized. I would LOVE to do that ot my K5 for the rear. Next time at the pick n pull ill look around and see what the options there are.

I think I remeber reading about one of those in a Western Hauler or something. Or maybe just a pimped out CC, like with a conversion van type package

My parents had a cinversion van that had the same 3rd bench fold down deal. Great point Bad'

If you are anywhere near 6' tall the cab is going to be too short to sleep comfortably.

My crew has the back seat that lays flat into a bed. Truck was done by Cho Cho Customs....

They were installed by conversion companies. 1 I tint windows for still put them in 4500 and freightliners

Quit being cheap and get a little slide in camper! :)

Seriously though I like the idea of the front folding all the way back and making a big bed because then you can lay corner to corner. If only the back slid down you'd be forced to sleep door to door and that's not very long.

Maybe you could modify something like this for the front...

Alright, so I'm not down with having a Van seat in the CC. I havn't looked at the bench seat brackets. Maybe out of the two bolts on the side(havn't looked), one could be stationary and the other a pin of some sort??
Definetely want to keep the stock style bench seat.

I'm not cheap either Avery you know my random spending habits. Loader, 60's, duallys

They were done by conversion dealers ,mine CC was done at Outrider in texas and also had all the wood tim . The seat slides forward and then folds down into the bead. They are soft and ride great.

IM interested in one or maybe 2 one for the crewey and one for the sub.
Any one planning on getting one anytime soon or can post pic's of one installed.

Only problem getting pics of mine is all the crap in the back seat. Gonna get some shots of the crossmember area for Scott (Crewcab59), so I can get my Cummins in there.....:)
