Hi guys,
My sons 1973 C10 short bed pickup came with a second gas tank.
It looks like an aftermarket tank, that was fabbed... its well built and we want to keep it. Here it is with a coat of paint...

The first problem is that the tank sended is no good... I get no reading with a multimeter. Anyone know where I can get a replacement or something that will work?
Here is the dead one..

The second problem is interesting...
There is a switchover valve mounted on the drivers side floor and PO said it is leaking. There is a toggle switch mounted on the dash to toggle the gauge from tank 1 to tank 2.

Anyone ever seen this set up before and have any advice on sourcing componants?

Looks like a universal sending unit from JCW and again, a universal valve probably from JCW again.

I odered the Universal gauge sender... thanks for that guys, it does look the same!
That tank switch is not on JCW.. unless I missed it?

Hi,
Looks like I got it all figured out so far, thanks Guys.
The Tank sender I got from JCW for $26 inc shipping and the Valve I just won on Ebay for $12!
I gave to tank two coats of Rustoleum primer and then two coats of Hammered Silver. It is looking good!
