6.0 comes in the 3500HD's which are around 8k pounds. These old crew cabs are 6500 lbs (as the 4wd model). Not saying that it's the ideal engine (I'm a diesel guy) just the bashing of it is requiring a double take haha.

I think the debate is a moot point the truck is his friend's and he already made up his mind and I guess already has the engine.
Yeah it will be a good cruise around truck like what everyone buys a newer half ton for now days. Should work perfect with the 6.0 for fuel economy and just general uses as a truck.
