Does it have to be a convertible?
I know where a caddy is...actually there is a I think 59 caddy four door pretty nice condition. Its just sitting there.
Another one that is a late 60's two door...but also not a convertible.

a buddy of mine has a nice 1970 CDV with a 472, runs like a top, needs a paint job, a front bumper, maybe some interior work and an accelerator pump.. i bet i could get it for ya for 1800..

yhat would be quite the drive /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

WOW if a camaro is out of your budget one of these is surely way out. I wish I could find a 442 convertable in good condition under 8k I had a 69,71 but sold both of them like the fool I am for real cheap but this was in 97 (only excuse I can think of /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif) Good luck the 442's are one of the best lookin cars of that era IMO.
