Caddy thread

How’s the LS6 life? Those were fun cars - way more analog than the 2nd gen.

David

well here goes, the light silver one was my first one, it got totaled back in March by an uninsured driver, red one is its replacementctsv-2.jpg ctsv-1.jpg
i parted it out and will hopefully be putting the ls6 and t56 into one of my crappy dakotas so it will actually go faster than a turtle and be reliable
Its replacement, ls2 btr stage 3 cam, have some bushings from revshift and other parts from creative steel as well as the coil overs to go on it sometime soon

And its current stage, really ready to be done with this vinyl wrapping process while when its done i will be able to say i did it myself, it has been a huge learning curve and quite a PITA caddy 1.jpg

Nice, I ordered a set of black v badges to.
I'm going to delete the supercharged call outs on the doors and the rest of the badging.

i was gonna ask if you were in need of a set, obviously not haha

Lol. my car spent most of it's life in Texas and the red in the flag part was all faded out.
Thought the black badges looked better.

as with everyone else i wish i had a v wagon really considered it when my first v got totaled, even sold my harley to get extra funds still didn't have enough and couldn't justify having a vehicle payment, so i chose to go back to peasant life with a v1 lol,

I am not sure the v wagon will ever come down enough to make it reasonable for the average person.
That said. I have thought about building my own. You can buy a v6 wagon for 10k....

It’s been 10 years since I had my 2nd gen V sedan, and I can’t find a single photo of it. I don’t really miss it all that much, or at least not nearly as much as some other cars. I pour all that “want energy” into my current project.

But, a TR6060 V wagon would be slicker than owl snot.
