Cage Build with Pics-Jimmy

Thats a nice looking cage.:thumb:

How many feet of tubing do you have into it so far?

Z

I bought 8- 20' sticks and I have just under 3 sticks left. I used about 100'. By the time I'm done I will probably use 7 sticks (140')

lookin good. How'd you mess the front up? Pics?
Fell into a deep hole and tried to push on through, ramming the front clip several times. Busted out two headlights and rearranged the hood and fender pretty good:rolleyes:. I guess its time to bob the front;) Had to do a little fabricting in order to keep riding. And a 52" spring flex pic just for the hell of it:DIMG_8501.JPG

That last pic is sweet. I love the kid and wife in the back. I love the flex on that rig. Good times!!!

Nothing is less fun then trying to get that georgia clay out of a wheel. hahaha

Yeah, it will turn into a rock after a couple of days and then you can knock a lot of it out with a stick or something. Boy is it sticky though! Last time I went out, that clay trapped some rocks the size of charcoal briquets on the inside of my wheels. I couldn't stand to go but about 40 because the wheels were so out of balance.

That's my boy, but not the wife. My buddies old lady. I always try to my son and wife. They love it! I make em get out if it's a tough obstacle.

Looks good. One thing I couldn't tell was if you attached the seat belts to the cage behind the seat for the top part. When I did my cage I attached the belts entirely to the cage as my seats were also attached to the same cage. If you have half of the belt attached to the cage and the other half to the body and they separate, you may find them suddenly a bit snug for your liking. A general rule of thumb is to have the belts attached to the same platform as the seats so you don't run into that issue. If the top of the belts are not attached to the cage, never mind....

yeah the top straps are mounted to the cage. This is temporary until I get the new seats put in. i just didn't have time before this ride.
