Not sure on the program, I am just going to tell them what I want and get some pictures of other cages for example.
If I'm understanding you correctly, it doesn't sound like all is lost.....
The complaint about clearance is NOT from the main hoop is it? From the looks of it, the problem is that the upper halo is the messing with you....from the drivers seat, it gets awfully close to the left side of your head???
The problem is that the way most halos attach to the main hoop, forces them to be narrow and they get really close to your head.
The solution is probably pretty simple:
Cut out the existing halo and front A-Pillar tubes.
Bend up a new set of A-pillars that will go from the floor, up past the dash, along the windshield (and slightly ABOVE the upper windshield frame) before making their final bend to allow them to attach to the main hoop.
If you attach these bars to the
horizontal part of the main hoop, you will pick up a number of extra inches over the design you have pictured. You won't have to "Scrap" the entire cage either.....just rework the front section.
This solution doesn't have a "halo" anymore...it's two long complex A-pillar tubes that would ultimately be attached up front with a bar across the top of the windshield frame. People will argue all day about which style is stronger...but ultimately it has a lot more to do with the quality of the welding, and the gusseting...than the "style" you choose.
