Im at 280$ a month to snap on, including my box, prob another 150 paid outright for home tools. Work tools total without box, 15,000$, Home tools, with toolboxes, 25,000$. Im Indust. tech for 10+ years ., meaning mechanical, electrical, plumbing, plc programming, welding, fabrication, machining, you name it I do it. Our work only supplies the more high dollar tools, Enerpac porta-power, welders, torch, plasma cutter, mills, lathes.
Luckily my wife understands that I need tools to bring home the paycheck and doesnt give me any crap about spending money on them
Plus what she dont know cant hurt me
How many of you have your tools, at work and home on your homeowners insurance? My insurance guy thought I was kidding when I told him I needed $60,000 in coverage, just for tools.
Then I started adding it up for him and his jaw dropped. Some people have no Idea.
