Calling all people running 33's

33's on my 2 wheel drive

with 4:10's and no overdrive 33" tires are the smallest i dare run. i'm always around 4500 rpms on the freeway, i've gone through one stroker already.

The only problem I've had so far are the diffs hanging up on mud, nothingon the trails yet, but they are a little small, so they're going away soon.

That's a Suburban with no lift, now hacked fenders because it was rubbing on the passenger side front tire. 33x12.50x16.50 TSL interco blems on stock 16.5x6.75 wheels. She's sitting in the yard right now, and the only difference is she's clean, has some CHEEZY kc's across the roof (I gotta paint over those wicked smileys     ), and some not pretty hacked fenders. If you need I can snap a few in the yard, but I will most likely by busy with college work all day today. I have a huge reseach paper.

thanks,
James

PS: man that post was old, lol :p:

78suburban, Those look like big 33's. I'm curios to know how they run and what gears you have??

Ya I know it's an old post but I was searching around trying to decid 33 or 35.

thanks
bob

They are Bias Plys, they would be horrible for a daily driver that sees alot of street duty. I have a very sick 350 motor, so I didn't get to use their full potential. I have a th400, np 203, rear 14ff, front corp 10, all sporting some 3.73 gears. Even with the motor running horribly, I can tell that the tires KICK BUTT. As long as I don't get hung up from lack of ground clearance, I WILL have the traction. I think mounting them on narrow wheels made them sit a little tall. They look GOOD on those narrow wheels. Keep in mind, I did have to trim my fenders a little. If this saw street miles, the centers would probably wear out quickly from mounting them on narrow wheels...

I jumped on these tires because I got them all for $366 to the door. I LOVE them and will probably wheel them for at least a year, untill I get a dana 60 and some lower gears, then I'll go BIG.. Once I get my motor running right, my next modification will be 4" lift and welding the rear end.. I really like the fact that I don't have to constantly worry about breaking my front corp 10 axle, and can have a lead foot with these tires.. I would definitely do it again.:wink1:

those 3" blocks in the rear have actually "jacked it up" in the rear...

i hate that saggy rear look.makes it look like it's gotta full diaper.
when i go with the diy shakle flip 4-6" without the blocks i will raise the
front 2-3"

stock with 33x12.50 Bridgestone Dueler A/T's

Thats the best looking paint I've ever seen  .. maybe one day I can save up and get my DD painted to look like that :D

Thanks I wish I knew who painted it.Its real slick and keeps a shine even under all the pollen this time of year.I got a lil ding on the back 1/4 by the tailgate if I knew who painted it I would get them to fix it for me.

33"s aren't bad but i hte those dunlop mud rover's i see how alot of people have them . I had a 94 Dakota that i put 31's on they were like 500 out the door road hazard and all i had close to 19,000 miles on them when they were dead they are junk i dont reccomend to anyone , and i would spend the extra on bfg's or something similar but those dunlops blow and i was always stuck sorry just had to say that
