dear yunit, ive searched and searched trying to find the specs on your brown blazer. i have diagrams of your fender trimming and want to do the same to my truck and would like to know what tire size and lift you had to make it look so good. thanks.

he had 42" TSLs with custom Alcan springs. Think it was about 4" of lift but I don't know for certain.

In the pictures below I had 38.5 TSL SX's with 4" Tuff Country's up front and a shackle flip in the rear, no body lift...

truggied and all, haha. I always admired Pete's rig, and did see it in person, it was as cool person(even just sitting in his driveway). There was a time I strived to build mine to be pretty much the samething. Wish I had kept that goal with my K5s as well. Oh well the past is the past and we have what we have now.

that is the problem....all of this info, knowledge and skill becomes like crack.....you see something you like and its i could that, and that, and the next thing you know you your driving by playgrounds looking how to adopt that jungle jim to your k5 frame.............

the never ending cycle.........

You guys make me want to build my current K5 like my old Jimmy...hmmm; still have all the major parts.:D

Question, in the first fender pic it looks like you have no inner fenders. Did you have any problems with debris in the engine compartment? I know on a muddy day I'm scrapeing 1/2" of garbage off my inner fender on my daily driver and that's just from driving the cemetery roads. Do you just waterproof the engine compartment and hose it out?

wow that was a nice lookin gmc there :D very cool

im glad i can get into my rig right now and drive it, i intend to leav eit that way, nothing crazy planned for it, by any means, is the way i need to leave it, so it can be used/enjoyed, sometimes the simple things are the best
:D

good luck
