I know this may sound like a stupid noob question but I couldnt find a answer on google, maybe I wasnt searching correctly.
Anyways my uncle won some 2" block lifts at a offroad ralleye and he gave them to me for my truck. I went to put them on and noticed that my 1 ton has wider springs closer to 2.75" and these blocks are only 2.5" wide. Can I still use them?
Also I found some 2.5" wide add a leafs and I was wondering if I could flip my front leaf spring over and use a add a leaf spring to raise it 2"?
Its a 1988 V30 1 ton
Thanks

the stock spring specs at 2.50 wide . but can be a tad thicker on the rear springs depending on brands .

the front in stock form are tappered leaf and do go up to almost 3" wide at the eye ends . but aftermarket lift springs are 2.5" wide also for the front.

you should be fine but you dont want to use the narrow 2.5" block on a true 3" wide spring . puts to much pressure in small area and can cause problems.

stock tappered leafs in the front should only be used with tappered leafs. and add-a-leafs ride stiff . so be warnned of that . also dont flip the front leafs the eye design is not made to work backwards like that . if your springs are that bad just buy a new set. or lift springs . we just had a guy here in another section of the site try new stock replacments and he didnt get any real diffrence in ride hight . he should of just got 2" lift springs to start and been done with it .

I have no idea what the stock front springs are supposed to look like but both my front have a slight rainbow shape to them.
Im not gonna do a lift until I get my 35s on and see how much trimming fenders helps
