Hi All,

I have been looking at my doors recently and they are pretty rough. I have also noticed that there are a ton of Doors at the Local Pick-A-Part but I have a 75 Full convertible and they are all full doors.

A quick inspection tells me that my convertible doors are just full doors that have been cut and covered with a rubber trim piece, is that the case?

Has anyone done this before because $50 for good condition doors with all the hardware is pretty sweet if it will work.

Also if this will work what years will work for the 75, is it true that 73-91 are all the same?

Thanks

J

73-91 will work. If your 75 doors are original, they will have a different rear window track ( it is shorter then a full door) & under the rubber pieces are some sheetmetal pieces that the rubber bolts to. You can cut them out of your doors & weld them to your new doors. Also your door windows have a long v shaped piece on the steel piece that holds the glass. This is to help hold it in the short track. You will need it too.

77-91 doors will have different door panels and your 75 door panels WILL NOT fit, but i like the newer panels anyway.
