I actually hate to post this :doah: but I need to know for sure. Just bought a new suburban and need new wheels. Hoping I can go with 15's easily and then reuse my brand new tires I had spec'd for the K5.

They would end up being 15x10 steelies with about 3.75" backspacing.

3.75 backspace might just be a save for you . maybe just a tiny clean up with the grinder.

even reg backspace its not much to grind on 3/4 ton .

also front only needs the work unless disk conversion in rear.

No guarantees, but there really isn't an 8 lug brake system that's any better for clearance than what you have. If those wheels won't fit your truck, they probably don't fit anything, so hopefully whoever made them knew about the 3/4T+ brakes they'd need to clear.

I run 15's on my blazer with a Dana 60/14BFF with no grinding. I bought 1.5" spacers. Works great

Cool. Maybe I'll go 3 inch bs just to be safe. Probably get pulled over for violating fender coverage...

3/4 ton is much smaller brakes over his dana 60 stuff .

like we said 3.75bs should be just fine with maybe kiss of the grinder.

There's also 1/4 and 1/2" wheel spacers that just slide onto lugs instead of bolting on.
