Just for a cruiser around town. I don't mind trimming a little, but don't want a massive amount of cutting.
Smaller height tire or width?Pick a smaller size, you will be cutting a ton to fit those right. A 14.5 is a real wide tire. To clear those without cutting you need about 7" of lift. I wouldn't do that either.
Both.Smaller height tire or width?
35x13.50s on 10" wide rims?Both.
Narrower. I am all about low lift trucks with big tires. Low center of gravity is the way to go. Also keep in mind that actual tire height varies by manufacturer and model. I ran 36x14.5 radial swampers for many years and to tell you the truth I hate them. Heavy, tons of drag on the street, poor performance on wet or icy roads. They also bog you down in snow and mud unless you have a ton of horsepower. A 5000lb truck isn't floating on top of anything, Its going to the bottom.
35x12.5 fit on 4" on 8"wheels 4.5 backspace on a 60 front. I could squeeze 10" wheels no problem but larger would get choppin.
10" works on with 35 x 12.50 with minor trimming, if you have real soft suspension then go with 8sSo a 10" would work? Or is 8" wide ideal? I don't mind a smidge of cutting, I just don't want to take a sawzaw to it.
Can I fit these tires on a 4" lift or not? If so, would you go 16x10s/15x10s or 12" wide?
