Can i flip my rear driveline?

I had the same vibration around 45ish and up. Mostly when you let off the gas. Orignally thought it was the rear output bearing of the tc, changed that and notice a little slop in the slip on the driveshaft. Bearing didnt change anything so I swapped a driveshaft in that my brother had with a tight slip and problem went away.
Cause of my lift the splines are exposed a bit so Im gonna grease the slip joint every couple hundred miles or so to try keep the dirt and crap out. Hopefully this will extend its life.

I replaced my trans mounts recently. Within a couple thousand miles anyway.

About the u-joint sizes. I thought it was really strange. I believe the truck to be an original 3/4ton. Vin comes up as such and nothing looks mollested on it.

I think what i might do for the time being is get a hub and drum from the junkyard and put it on and see how goes.

I believe my drive line itself is not the problem as in one of my tests, i pulled the rear axle shafts out so that only the driveline and output/input would spin. During that test at 55 there were only the faintest of vibrations.

Drums can and will warp with use. I have heard several theories as to why. Some times its just bad steel. I had a set on a car that would warp after a couple of stops. They did not vibrate all that much, but you would get pulsating when you stopped. Finally they replaced them under warranty after turning them a couple of times, and the new ones never warped.

Or , it could be a bad casting that is thicker in some places than others. Usually you will see signs of that when you see a large balancing weight on one side.

I have heard that a panic stop, followed by not taking your foot off the brake for a few minutes can warp them by keeping the super hot shoes pressed to the same place for a time.

In your case, I suspect a bad drum. Either uneven thickness, or bad steel.

The strange thing is the "B" written on the drum. Thats got me wondering. So, like i say, i plan a trip to the junk yard soon to get a replacement.

hopefully the new hub and drum assybmly do the trick then.with that off center drum,it seems like there should be a decent size counter weight on the opposite side of where it is off to not have that wobble.maybe with a slip shaft they have the smaller ujoint at the top on most shafts.i thought that on the rear 3/4 and 1 ton had the 1350 joints top and bottom with 1310 up front on all models.guess i was wrong if yours is stock like that.sorry bout that.it appears that you found the rpoblem fron the way that vid looked.if i had the money id ditch the drums and go disk.mine cost me 400 altogether with cadi brake calipers.still workin out he kinks though.they do brake much better than the drums, its just the ebrake im still tryin to perfect.
