I have a 72 blazer with the top removed and since the front axles are wider than the back, I had to put it on to the trailer backwards. I am able to get it far enough on the trailer to not really worry about tongue weight but what about all the wind damage to the inside?

Should I not even attempt this or just remove anything that would blow out and not worry about it??

I thought about that but the fenders are not strong enough to support the blazer. Also, the front wheels and tires are just at the point where they would squeeze in and push the fenders out forcing them to rub against the trailer tires. if only I had some skinny rollers, I'd be set. maybe it's time to go to the JY.

cut a couple 2x4's. start with one the length of the fender and get a couple inches shorter as you go up until the top 2x4 is level with the top of the fender. that should solve your squeezing problem and will give some support to the truck as it goes over the fenders.

what type of trailer is this on. I drive my 1ton'd k5 with a big block and 40in boggers over my fenders without the wood stacks and the fenders have held up.
