Can I use this AC Compressor for OBA?

I have AC in my truck (84 K30 with a Quadrajet 7.4L) and I have been considering converting it for use as an On Board Air Compressor.

I know that the Yorks are the best, and every York I have seen pictures of looks more square, with bolts on top. Here's a picture Of the one in my truck"

I know the Yorks are great because they don't need to have freon to lube them (I think...), but my question is, what will it take to make this one work?

Any idea what brand/kind it is?

I was searching more and found:

That thread says the compressor is a Harrison, and that it needs oil to run properly.

I have a friiend that uses one. He just sprays in a little oil once in a while.
