Can someone clarify please?

Ok so I'm cleaning out my dash and engine compartment. There's a yellow plastic housing with a metal box in it above the a/c box under the dash. Can anyone tell me what this is. I found where the wires lead and they're disconnected. Everything runs fine. Any ideas. It's an 85 k10 scottsdale

Should be the computer for the dizzy and carb. Look at your carb (if it's still original) and see if there are two electric connectors on it.

That's what I thought but everything is disconnected. It has an aftermarket edelbrock carb without electric choke. So basically I have no use for a computer now? That makes no sence haha first time working on a carbed truck. Bear with me

No need for the computer or the CCC carb and dizzy AS LONG AS you don't have to pass an emissions test where you live.

Awesome. It is a toy so no need for emissions testing but I have lots of friends that are inspectors so i'd pAss anyways.
