i'm building the bed of my truck and i need to know what the measurement is between the rear fenders of a 79 blazer.at the tailgate.or a closeness there off.

mine is 41", but it is tapered. i still got the stock tailgate and it is just a hair under 67" outside edge to out side edge.

also it is from a 1977, but i am pretty sure its exactly the same
I got 65" between the box sides at the back (not the tailgate opening)
50" between the wheel tubs.
