We pulled a few complete 4x4 drivetrains out in one peice with the forkloader at the junkyard ,but we had to cut off the tranny crossmember and remove the front clip,if it was still intact....it usually was more of a pain than doing the engine first really,as the shifter had to be pulled first,etc...usually busted a few parts in the process of removal too....you'll need a really beefy engine crane to handle all 3 peices at once too--ours would do a chineese wheelie when we tried using one instead of the loader,we had to place a junk engine on the back legs to keep it on the ground!...your talking a good 1200 lbs there, for all 3 peices, especially if it had a NP 205 or 203 hanging in the back...we cracked one tranny case due to the weight of a cast iron one too..
Thanks for all the input.
